WHO WE ARE

The Canadian MST CoP engages researchers, clinicians, and policy leaders from across Canadian universities, government departments, and non-governmental organizations for the purpose of knowledge exchange.  They also engage representatives with lived experience of MST.  We gather to share knowledge and ideas on the emerging field of Military Sexual Trauma in Canada.

VISION

To support Canadian Forces active members and Canadian veterans with lived experience through a collective understanding of this challenge and influencing policy change to make their lives better.

MISSION

The purpose of the CoP is to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange that contributes to the collective understanding of MST, while exploring opportunities to increase research, knowledge translation, and to enhance public awareness of MST.

Our hope is to move this subject forward in the applied arena, to ultimately improve the services to, and lives of Military Members and Veterans affected by MST. Organizing the Symposium Series is one of our first major endeavors in mobilizing knowledge for the Canadian community.
